Rotation is a view, not the content. A screen turned on a wall gets ?rot=panel in its own url. Every other viewer — this browser included — gets it upright, because how one panel is hung is not a property of the board.

Each board says where it came from. Bottom right: the serving origin, the viewport it was laid out in, and how old its content is. If it cannot work out its age it says so rather than guessing.
